I am a software developer by trade, and as such, I always try to put user experience at the forefront of everything I write. There has been SEVERE performance issues with Fusion 360 on Mac for a long time. Is there anything that is being done? I've tried using this retched software on multiple Macs and the same frustrating issue exists amongst all of them. It will take upwards of five minutes just to open a simple file! I've turned all the graphics settings to their minimum value and set every other possible setting to "performance." I've selected "open in low resolution" as well from the Mac "app info." I just did a Windows installation on the same machine via Boot Camp and the same file opened in seconds! I've loaded multiple benchmark scenes in blender and rendered them and my time was in the top 1%. Fusion 360 however, acts like an old rusted car stuck in the mud. ![]() I use Blender, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects fine without any performance issues. It's an excellent machine and runs all other software flawlessly. ![]() I have an 8 core Intel i7 gen8 with 64 gb of RAM with Nvidia 1080 graphics card.
